An iron-on label is a type of label or patch that can be attached to clothing, fabric bags, or other textile items by using heat and pressure.

These labels are usually made of a special heat-activated adhesive on the back that is activated when exposed to heat, such as from a household iron or a heat press. To apply an iron-on label, you simply place it on the fabric where you want it to go, cover it with a cloth or piece of parchment paper to protect the label and fabric, and then apply heat and pressure for a specified amount of time. The label should then adhere to the fabric and stay in place through multiple washings and wearings.

Iron-on labels can be used for a variety of purposes, including personalizing clothing or bags, labeling items for school or daycare, or adding branding to promotional items. They are often used as an alternative to sew-on labels, which require more time and effort to apply.

There are many materials that can be used to make iron-on labels:

- Iron on fabric labels

- Iron on silicone labels

- Iron on leather labels

- Iron on PVC labels

- Iron on embroidery patches

And so on.

Pls note, iron on label is not exact same as heat transfer label.
